The inspiration for this painting came in 2022 when Jupiter was at the closest proximity and shone the brightest and largest on the night sky apart from the Moon. I was stunned looking up to the sky what a commanding presence it had. As if making a statement centre stage, demanding all attention. Here I am, impossible to ignore.
